He Said, She Said...

“If you yourself are a few cards short of a full deck, perhaps you should spend a lil less time tryn to tell everyone else how to shuffle!”

Aint it true? Why is it always the one with the least bit of sense, who insists on sowing wisdom in the circle? Maybe I’m cynical… and think that only smart people should speak… but I know I’m not alone in that?

Yes, yes, there are lessons to be learned everywhere… I remember this one time a challenged girl was in my Sunday School class… and in my immaturity I was not as polite I was taught to be. But my Sunday School teacher said “She is making a joyful noise unto the Lord… and the Bible says, make a joyful noise.” I say that to say this… I have forever been haunted by that moment… and often remember – in times of annoyance or hilarity at the expense of others - that it really is not about me… and though I have my opinion, my perspective, is not the important one… but neither is anyone else’s. CanIkeepitreal?

“Don’t ever make the mistake of thinking that you’re significant.”

So to the young person… who was trying to tell me what to do… BUMP YOU… you’re perspective aint sheeeit. And that bit of noise, brought ME some joy. HOLLA.
